In 1980, the AKIN family, one of the most important shirt manufacturers in Turkey, started to produce shirt machine in order to solve the problems in the shirt production facilities with its experience accumulated over the years.

Professionalizing in its field in 1989, EPA registered its AKIN brand and today it has become a big brand that offers perfect machine and automation solutions and services to the world's most famous shirt and apparel manufacturers. In addition to establishing shirt factories with its experienced engineering team and foreign agencies in many countries around the world, EPA AKIN offers special solutions to products and companies that are designed to increase productivity in garment factories. It has set up sewing preparation and ironing automation systems of both official and private organizations that produce for military and law enforcement forces together with garment factories in many countries and continues to set up on a project basis. EPA AKIN has realized and continues to realize joint projects with Tübitak in accordance with its founding philosophy and continues to be a pioneer in its field in Turkish apparel machinery manufacturing.

• - In 2014, it made the first Tunnel Ironing Machine in Turkey to be used especially in logistics centers, hospitals and laundries and collected it under the "Marvella" brand.


• - EPA AKIN, which has focused on the production of machinery for technical textiles since 2015, started to manufacture machines for use in the field of seamless manufacturing and gathered these machines under the brand of Toria.


• - Since 2018, it has entered the combing industry by adding the first and patented EPA 5001 Automatic Folding and Packaging Machines to its portfolio in Turkey and has started to manufacture efficiency-oriented customer-specific machines in accordance with the manufacturing methods of the customers.
